Notice to Candidates

About the assessment in your application

If an employer asks you to complete HIRE Scout as part of applying for a role, this page explains what it is, what it looks at, and the choices you have.

For employer and counsel: This notice is a template. The exact wording, the advance-notice period, and the request handling must be confirmed by the employer and qualified counsel for each jurisdiction before HIRE Scout is used in a covered hiring decision. It is provided to support that process, not to replace it.

What HIRE Scout is

HIRE Scout is a short behavioral assessment built for hospitality roles. It asks you to read realistic workplace situations and choose how you would respond. It is an assessment and role-fit tool, not a test you pass or fail.

It looks at how someone tends to operate at work across four areas: holding standards, staying composed under pressure, taking initiative, and working within a team.

Your choices

You can, where applicable in your location and the employer's process:

Making a request will not, by itself, count against your application.

Make a request

Use this form to ask for an alternative process, an accommodation, information, or human review. The employer's hiring contact will follow up.

Your request is sent to the employer's hiring contact for handling. Do not include sensitive medical detail here; a brief description of what you need is enough.
